Natural emery is also called garnet sand. The main uses of natural emery are: waterjet cutting  and sandblasting. From the three major industrial uses, I will show you the natural emery (garnet).

       * Sandblasting

       Natural emery abrasives have moderate hardness, high specificity, and good toughness. Especially in the field of blasting, rusting and descaling of metal stainless steel, it is an ideal "environmental protection" type of sandblasting material.

      * Abrasive Filter media

       The natural emery has a hardness of 7.5-8 mosh and is used as the bottom medium of the filter bed in sewage filtration. Due to its high specific gravity during backwashing, garnet sand will not overflow with water and mix the filter material.

       * Waterjet cutting abrasive

     This is currently the main application field of natural emery in China. Adding it to the waterjet makes the waterjet a Gaza waterjet, which greatly improves the cutting thickness, material and smoothness of the cutting surface. For this purpose, it is also called waterjet sand or water cutting sand, Water jet sand.
